If you are interested in setting up a study through our CRDC or have questions we would like to hear from you. Contact feasibilities.gmcrdc@mft.nhs.uk and we will be happy to answer any questions you have.
Setting up your study
At this stage we can discuss how your study will run to best reach communities across Greater Manchester. In many cases this will involve our partner organisations coming together to help run your study, utilising all of CRDC:GM resources and allowing research to reach across all of Greater Manchester.
Setting up workflow
Once the most suitable site has been selected we will work with you to ensure all relevant documentation is submitted in order to proceed with set up.
We follow the UK standardised approach to costing and contracting for commercial research which is essential for delivering clinical trials via the NHS.
Establishing timelines
To meet UK national 150 day clinical trial targets, we intend to set up your study at our sites within 60 days and have the first participant recruited 30 days after being given green light.
We can also support rapid set up for studies that have a limited recruitment window or a specific patient cohort timeline.
Who will carry out your study
Our CRDC is able to call upon the vast experience and expertise of leading clinical teams across Greater Manchester. We will identify the best Principal Investigator (PI) to successfully lead your study with support for clinical activity provided by research fellows helping to meet the study objectives and recruitment targets.
